About WAFCA

WAFCA stands for the Wisconsin Association of Family & Children's Agencies. Founded in 1980, WAFCA has been the unified voice of child and family services in Wisconsin for 45 years.

WAFCA advocates for our members and the more than 200,000 individuals, children and families they serve each year. WAFCA member agencies are private for profit and nonprofit businesses providing behavioral health and human services, often under contract with public sector partners. WAFCA seeks to provide each member agency with support to live into their values, advance their mission, and deliver services in an ethical, sustainable and equitable manner, and our members form a community that offers a supportive network of colleagues eager to collaborate.

WAFCA partners with others in pursuit of a more accessible and effective continuum of care. From home visiting, in-home, and outpatient services, to crisis intervention, foster care, and residential treatment, WAFCA members respond to the unique needs of each community they serve.
