Learn on your time!
Recordings from some of our very own WAFCA-CE offerings are now available to view again after the event or just in case you missed it. Each offering is eligible for Continuing Education hours following the successful completion of the webinar and passing of a short quiz.
A few notes to help you get started...
- These are recordings of live events and not all information will be relevant to your learning. You will want to ignore opening remarks pertaining to certificate issuance and survey completion. You can fast forward through introductory remarks, breaks, lunch, etc. Fast-forwarding through presenter content will render you unable to progress to the quiz.
- Each webinar has a specific amount of time the viewer must watch in order to obtain credit; this is based on the amount of actual presentation time (excluding intro/break time).
- Each webinar is a pre-requisite to the quiz. You must reach the specified amount of time referenced in #2 for the quiz to generate.
- Following successful completion of the webinar and quiz, you be able to download your certificate. It will open as a PDF, so be sure your system allows for that (you may need to adjust pop-up blocker settings).
- We recommend viewing the recording when you have down time and do not have to multi-task, as the system will not allow you to do other things on the same device you are viewing the recording on. For example, if you are watching a recording on your laptop and you go to check your email or access another page via your web browser on that same laptop, the recording will pause. It will resume when you come back to it.
- If you step away from a course completely (exit out of the browser) and want to continue viewing the webinar from where you left off, scroll down past the courses to find the "SEE COURSES YOU OWN" button. Click on it and select the webinar you were viewing and it should display the video from the minute you left off. Just press the play button and continue watching.
- A special note to employees of Children's Wisconsin: some people have reported issues saving progress when watching on a Children's device, possibly due to firewall issues. We recommend logging in and watching the recording on a non-Children's device. We apologize for the inconvenience!
