Through our Continuing Education Program (WAFCA-CE), leadership events, Great Lakes MHTTC Trainings, and regular virtual connections, members share their experiences and work together to improve the quality of services and the lives of the families and children entrusted to their care. Event CalendarContinuing EducationFor more than 25 years, WAFCA has provided quality, timely continuing education for professionals serving children and families in Wisconsin. Each year, we train more than 1,000 participants including social workers, therapists, counselors, case managers, residential care workers, parenting support aides and in-home support workers on topics ranging from family systems to addiction and trauma. As the Wisconsin partner for the Great Lakes Mental Health Technology Transfer Center, we also offer high-value virtual trainings and technical assistance. Leadership EventsThroughout the year, leaders from WAFCA member agencies meet with state policy makers and state administration leaders, participate in joint learning sessions, and hear more about the innovative work of fellow members from across Wisconsin.
